Had the opportunity to visit the current exhibition at the MCA in Sydney called CORNELIA PARKER. It truly is a visual spectacular!

Known for transforming everyday objects into unexpected projections Cornelia Parker uses fragments rather than the whole in her installations. Using sculpture, drawing, needlework, installation, photography and video, this exhibition proved well worth visiting.

An amazing fact is her appointment in 2017 as the first female Election Artist for the UK general election. With Brexit, global migration, terrorism, the far right…democracy unhinged you could say....Cornelia Parkers art exploit that conundrum beautifully.
